Position Details

• $325 per day.
• Sunday – Thursday schedule.
• Home daily.

Position Purpose

As a Shuttle Driver, you will transport empty trailers to operating company warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations. You will drive a tandem trailer, tractor‑trailer, or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, ensuring safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). You will communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and co‑workers.

Responsibilities

• Perform all required safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections of tractor/trailer.
• Report all safety issues and required repairs.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Inspect trailers for proper loading and secured freight.
• Maintain required route paperwork and driver logs.
• Drive and deliver trailers according to the predetermined schedule.
• Perform hook/unhook procedures following safety guidelines.
• Park and store tractor trailers in designated areas.
• Secure all equipment and freight.
• Collect and secure damaged goods and customer returns.
• Unload equipment, materials, and remove trash from trailers.
• Complete daily hours‑of‑service record in accordance with federal, state, and company requirements.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the tractor and loading dock area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or State‑approved equivalent.
• 1+ years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL‑A with double endorsement.
• Minimum age 21.
• Compliance with all state licensing and certification requirements.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report for past 3 years.
• Work required on a 3rd‑shift schedule, Sunday – Thursday nights (schedules may vary).
• Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Valid current DOT health card or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to hand‑lift and use equipment to move/stack product cases from 60–90 pounds.

Compensation

$325 per day.
