Join us as a Propane Delivery Driver and receive a $2,000 sign‑on bonus.

This hourly position offers a pay range of $27.00 to $35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Job Summary

Responsible for safe, efficient, and courteous delivery of fuel products to customers. In quieter periods, assists with meter reading, tank setting, and maintenance of company properties.

Specific Responsibilities

• Deliver distillates and propane as directed, following all safety practices.
• Perform “return to service” duties: leak checks, relighting appliances (propane), prime/starts (oil).
• Maintain daily communication with the office, distribution manager, and operations manager.
• Inspect and maintain delivery trucks: pre‑trip inspections, paperwork, cleaning, and safety tests.
• Submit accurate reports and customer payments.
• Participate in safety and operations meetings and propose process improvements.
• Follow the company’s safety strategy and use PPE as required.
• Provide customer service for delivery matters.
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as fleet reconditioning, meter reading, tank setting, and landscaping.
• Perform other duties assigned by the distribution or operations manager.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of petroleum or propane delivery experience (preferred).
• Commercial driver’s license, Class A or B, with hazmat, tanker, and air‑brake endorsements.
• Valid DOT medical certificate.
• Standard‑shift transmission driving ability.
• Pass company drug, alcohol, and physical tests.
• Availability for flexible schedule, weekends, overtime, and on‑call shifts.
• Experience with DOT, Haz Mat, OSHA, FMCSA regulations.
• Certifications as applicable (e.g., CETP delivery modules for propane).
• Proficiency with Android tablets and web software.

Job Environment

Deliveries involve lifting up to 25 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 100 pounds, repeated motions, and fine motor skills. Hearing and vision must meet commercial driver licensing standards. Reasonable accommodations available for disability.

Compensation

Hourly pay: $27.00 – $35.00.
