Accounting Clerk

Randstad is partnering with a food manufacturing firm looking for an accounting clerk who can also support shipping and receiving. The ideal candidate is dependable, accurate, and comfortable working with shipping documentation, inventory systems, drivers, warehouse personnel, and office staff. The schedule for this week is split between 1st and 2nd shift, 1st shift being 7 am-3 pm and 2nd shift being 4 pm-12 am.

The ideal candidate has flexible availability and enjoys working both shifts.

• Process and prepare shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, and receiving paperwork
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quantity
• Coordinate daily shipments with warehouse staff and customer service
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records in company systems

• Work closely with the accounting department to ensure accurate invoicing and shipment reconciliation
• Match purchase orders, sales orders, receiving documents
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to PO. SO etc
• Enter data accurately into ERP, warehouse management, or accounting systems
• Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for shipping and receiving records

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred
• Experience working in food manufacturing, cold storage, or fresh food distribution is a plus
• Knowledge of Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipping documents, and inventory processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
• Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems preferred
