Position Overview

The Human Resources Generalist provides day‑to‑day HR administrative support across the KY facilities, primarily at Wilderness Trail. The role assists in policy compliance, workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, off‑boarding, employee engagement and DEIB initiatives. The position is based in Lawrenceburg and requires frequent on‑site presence at the Danville location.

Key Responsibilities and Activities
  • Partner with functional leadership and Sr. HR Members to identify organizational, talent, culture, or morale opportunities.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for day‑to‑day employee assistance.
  • Support Sr. HR Leadership with execution of global Talent Management processes (Annual Performance Review, Talent Review & Succession Planning, Development Planning).
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment law and company policies.
  • Assist with employee relations issues, investigations, findings and recommended actions.
  • Contribute to programs that improve Campari America's employer brand.
  • Co‑facilitate custom trainings for supervisors to address capability gaps.
  • Respond to benefit inquiries and facilitate resolution with internal/external resources.
  • Support benefits administration, including change reporting, invoice accuracy and benefit communication.
  • Assist Benefits with LOA paperwork and maintain the LOA Tracker.
  • Act as Payroll Coordinator providing payroll administrative support.
  • Maintain and update Workforce Planning tool data, audit records, resolve discrepancies.
  • Monitor facility culture and engagement, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Source, select and hire qualified candidates for Production Operations positions, ensuring cost‑effective techniques and compliance.
  • Manage applicant flow to ensure qualified candidate availability.
  • Draft offer letters and administer all Operations offers paperwork.
  • Assist with background checks and coordinate candidate management activities.
  • Co‑facilitate the On‑Boarding program, coordinating key stakeholder communications.
  • Ensure new‑hire documents are completed, stored and retained for audit.
  • Coordinate with IT, Benefits and Payroll to enroll new hires into systems on day one.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing facility; 2 years coordinating departmental HR activities (interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating and developing employees).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Understanding of routine HR processes and procedures.
  • Ability to assist employees with policy interpretation and compliance.
  • Working knowledge of state and federal labor laws.
  • Proven experience in employee relations: investigations, performance management, disciplinary actions.
  • Strong communication, influencing and partnering skills with plant supervisors/managers.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel for analysis and KPI management.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow‑up on commitments.
  • Independent work capability with sound judgment and escalation when needed.
  • Proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Creativity and ability to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple functions and manage multiple projects.
