Job Title

Medical Assistant – Full-time – Entry level – Locations:
Savannah, TN & Lawrenceburg, TN (travel: 3 days/week in Savannah, 2 days/week in Lawrenceburg)

Spero Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our mission of “Saving Lives, Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships” in an integrated care team. The role involves patient counseling, case management, and medically assisted treatment.

• Schedule patient appointments.
• Answer incoming calls and check voice messages regularly.
• Check patients in/out and monitor patient flow.
• Perform urine drug screens, take vitals, and assist with patient evaluations.
• Call in patient medication as directed by Physician.
• Input accurate patient information into electronic health records.
• Send prior‑authorizations to insurance companies.
• Perform daily financial summary and balance of payments received.
• Manage cash collection and verify benefits.
• Review Prescription Monitoring Database.
• Provide education and resource information regarding medication.

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred.

• 1–3 years as a Medical Assistant (or similar role).
• Phlebotomy and lab experience preferred.
• Injection experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
