The Physical Therapist Assistant who excels in this role:

• Provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in restoring function and improving mobility.
• Administers physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assists in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitors patient responses and reports progress to PT.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensures a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Team-oriented and patient-focused with strong communication skills.

• Education
  :
  Associate's degree from a PTA program.
• Experience
  :
  Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
• License
  :
  Current PTA license in state of practice.
• Certifications
  : CPR certification required.

STRHS-Lawrenceburg, formerly Crockett Hospital, is a 99-bed acute care facility located in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, 85 miles south of Nashville. We have been providing the best healthcare in Lawrence County and surrounding counties in Southern Middle Tennessee since 1974. We expanded the facility and services in 1991 with the addition of an Outpatient Surgery Unit, a state‑of‑the‑art 24-hour physician‑staffed Emergency Department, and an Intensive Care Unit.

The hospital opened a 10-bed Physical Rehabilitation Unit in 1997, and a Women's Health Center in 1999. Diagnostic imaging services include in-house MRI, Nuclear Medicine, CT, X-ray, Digital Mammography and Ultrasound. The Rehabilitation Unit provides Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies. In 2009, a $5.6 million construction was completed which expanded the Emergency Department, Outpatient Surgery Unit and Registration area.
