We are searching for an energetic team player to support our Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) and Purchasing teams s position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement. As an MRO Clerk focused on Purchasing, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations by ensuring the timely procurement of critical materials and the organization of inventory.

You will help keep our manufacturing production running smoothly, while demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and a positive workplace culture.

• Coordinate the purchase and delivery of MRO supplies, materials, and services to meet operational needs

• Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in line with company policies and procedures

• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues arising from orders

• ERP- QAD System

• Maintain and update MRO inventory records, tracking materials usage and restocking as needed

• Perform regular cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and report discrepancies promptly

• Collaborate with maintenance and production departments to fulfill requirements and optimize inventory levels

• Assist with vendor evaluations and support the onboarding of new suppliers

• Ensure compliance with established safety, quality, and environmental standards

• Support continuous improvement efforts in purchasing, inventory, and logistics processes

• Perform other related duties as assigned to support purchasing and plant operations

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, supply chain, or related field is an asset

• 1+ years of experience in an MRO, purchasing, inventory, or administrative support role (manufacturing experience preferred)

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with ERP/MRP (QAD) or inventory management systems

• Demonstrated organizational skills and high level of attention to detail

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively as part of a diverse team

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity with sensitive information

• Knowledge of purchasing practices, vendor management, and supply chain functions is considered an asset

• Access to reliable transportation
