Senior Accountant

Overview

New role:
Senior Accountant (Hybrid 3 days in office in Metro Atlanta). We're partnering with a dynamic, privately held construction company that's actively seeking a Senior Accountant
.

• Perform month-end closing activities in a timely and accurate manner, including but not limited to journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with credit card and accounts payable management.
• Support the annual audit process and respond to audit requests.
• Provide ad hoc information support and analysis as needed.
• Support system implementation efforts across the company brands.
• Assist with developing and/or updating accounting process SOPs.
• Provide leadership and guidance to members of the accounting team at operating locations.
• Proactively identify solutions to accounting issues as they arise and drive process improvement across the accounting organization.

• Bachelor s degree in accounting is required.
• WIP experience highly preferred
• 2-3+ years of experience in public accounting or in industry in an accounting role.
