Job Summary

This position is a professional position responsible for administering GGC's Purchasing Card (P-CARD) program, ensuring compliance with policies, and managing P-Card related activities. This position will report to the Director of Procurement.

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing daily operations of the P-Card program, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Oversee supplier relations including new suppliers, existing suppliers, supplier issues, and e-Verify reporting
  • Maintain P-Card documents including cardholder information, statements, training, etc.
  • Monitor internal controls regarding P-Card transactions
  • Provide training and support as needed. Ensure online training courses are up to date with policy
  • Process documentation for new P-Cards as appropriate
  • Reconcile all P-Card statements monthly as well as reconcile monthly account statement with PCARD upload
  • Request payment for Bank of America
  • Assist the director during the PCard Audit period; other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • 2 Year / Associate Degree in accounting, finance, business or related field OR combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge.
  • 2 or more years of experience in accounting, budgeting or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Procurement experience in a university, non-profit, public or governmental setting
  • People Soft experience
Proposed Salary

42,100 - 50,500

Salary offer will be dependent on candidate's experience and qualifications, internal equity considerations, budget availability, and salary administration guidelines.

  • Strong computer skills, with a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with internal contacts.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
