Job SummaryGeorgia Gwinnett College is now accepting applications for part‑time faculty positions in Art in the School of Liberal Arts for the academic year 2025‑2026. Positions are semester‑based, report directly to the Department Chair, and may be conducted face‑to‑face, online, hybrid, or blended. Positions are as‑needed and may teach in any semester. Classes are offered morning, afternoon, evening, and weekends.
Responsibilities- Develop course curricula, including syllabus, lesson plans, and graded assignments, in accordance with upper‑division program requirements and in consultation with the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs.
- Review, evaluate, and recommend student learning materials.
- Evaluate students to measure their progress in achieving institutional and course goals.
- Submit required paperwork related to instruction in a timely and accurate manner.
- A master's degree (minimum 18 graduate semester hours or 30 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.
- Terminal degree in the teaching discipline.
- One year of college‑level teaching experience.
- Sustained professional engagement that demonstrates relevance and currency in the field of teaching.
- Strong commitment to undergraduate education, student engagement, and service to the college and community.
- Experience with innovative teaching, advising, and mentoring.
