Structural Designer; PI L

As a member of an interdisciplinary design team and under the direction of professional engineers:

• Provide technical support to structural engineers working on the design of transportation projects
• Prepare design sketches, drawings and renderings using CADD
• Prepare engineering reports and contract documents such as specifications, schedules and cost estimates.
• Perform field work to investigate existing and construction conditions.
• Cooperate and coordinate with other design team members

• BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with a concentration in Structural Engineering
• Proficiency with Microstation or Autocad, MSWord and Excel
• Familiarity with structural engineering software such as STAAD, CSI Bridge, M. Das and/or SAP
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• FE preferred
