Base pay range$43,000.00/yr - $50,000.00/yr
Role Summary / ObjectiveThe Plat CAD+QC Specialist is responsible for driving excellence at front-end processes to further enhance speed, accuracy, and overall client experience.
Qualifications- Strong mathematical, computer, analytic, and problem solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment
- Experience leading, mentoring, advising, and training teams and individuals is a plus.
- Credentials, certifications, and/or licenses in relevant fields are a plus.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in surveying and mapping, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, IT, or related field; instead of a degree, 1-3 years experience working in surveying, drafting, or other relevant field or position, or willingness and capability to train/learn.
- Efficiently operate CAD programs while utilizing optimal drafting techniques and practices.
- Input information into CAD drawings from plats, construction-related documents, and checklists.
- Ability to convey information with clarity, conciseness, and completeness.
- Conduct Quality Control review on completed drafting orders to ensure accuracy.
- Identify potential issues and elevate to a supervisor when necessary.
- Address, resolve, and/or elevate problems as appropriate.
- Maintain a robust understanding of industry trends and best practices.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
