Position OverviewAs a Lead Teller within PNC's retail banking organization, you will be based in the Lawrenceville, Georgia branch. This role focuses on delivering an outstanding customer experience, fostering an inclusive workplace, and supporting branch operations.
Job Description- Coaches, mentors, and leads tellers by example to deliver a unique customer experience aimed at improving customer financial wellbeing and creating loyalty while increasing share of wallet. Processes a variety of customer interactions.
- Educates customers on alternatives available for their financial interactions and identifies banking opportunities during the customer interaction, referring as appropriate.
- Performs lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs, leveraging technology, tools, and resources.
- Communicates clearly, handles transactions, and resolves problems. Assists the Branch Manager with performance management and new hire selection processes.
- Adheres to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits, ensuring teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed efficiently and accurately.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent; university/college degree not required.
- At least 1+ year of related experience in retail banking or similar customer‑facing environment.
- Comprehensive product knowledge and experience in financial transaction processing.
- Strong communication, coaching, and problem‑solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team and support branch goals.
- Accountability, Banking, Client Loyalty, Customer Experience (CX), Customer Service, Identifying Opportunities, Leveraging Technology, Proactive Sales.
