Job Description SummaryThe Credentialing Specialist shall be responsible for coordinating the credentialing of Medical Staff and Allied Health professionals, ensuring that contracting and credentialing is completed in a timely manner for all physicians. This full‑time, benefited position reports to the Chief Administrative Officer and is located at the company’s administrative office in Lawrenceville, GA.
Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accrediting institutions.
- Monitor staff and provider credentials and licenses.
- Follow up with insurance carriers and provider networks regarding credentialing/contracting status.
- Communicate with physicians on licensure and document renewal expirations.
- Complete contracting recredentialing applications.
- Maintain CAQH profiles for physicians based on Medicare regulations.
- Keep records on licenses, credentials, and insurance contracts.
- Release information to agencies and members of the public as required by law.

- Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

- Personable and confident while providing exceptional patient care.
- Minimum 1‑year previous experience in credentialing preferred.
- Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) through the National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) preferred.
- Experience using eClinical
Works preferred. - Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
