The Senior Technical Solutions Consultant will be responsible for actively driving the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. Senior Technical solution consultants combine technical knowledge with sales skills to remove objections related to technology infrastructure, scalability and security. They also act as mentor for less experienced technical staff, uncover business requirements, and develop a solution architecture that leverages Sage Intacct’s solutions, including advanced modules, to address customer requirements.

• Present the benefits of Sage Intacct’s solutions, including advanced modules, to all levels including lines of business managers, IT managers, developers, and C‑level executives.
• Develop solution architectures that demonstrate Sage Intacct’s best‑in‑class strategy.
• Mentor the application engineers and serve as the lead for developing POCs using Sage Intacct Web Services APIs, Sage Intacct Platform Product, and Sage Intacct integrations with third‑party applications.
• Lead discussions on technology infrastructure, scalability and security and provide best‑practice recommendations for integrating systems with Sage Intacct.
• Meet quarterly and annual quota objectives in tandem with the Corporate Sales Representatives.
• Assist the marketing department in conducting webinars and product sessions at user conferences.
• Provide input to other cross‑functional departments pertaining to prospect requests and product enhancements as needed.

• BS in Computer Science or related field; MBA a plus.
• 7+ years as a solutions consultant (accounting or financial software application experience preferred).
• Minimum 4‑6 years of experience with web‑based programming languages such as PHP, Python, Perl, JavaScript, and XML.
• Minimum 4‑6 years of experience in a customer‑interfacing support role.
• Excellent understanding of database technologies, systems security and integration techniques between systems using web services.
• Legacy ERP technology background and exposure to standard accounting modules (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Invoicing) is highly desired.
• Hands‑on experience with SaaS applications such as  is highly desired.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem solver with critical‑thinking skills who can identify root causes and solve difficult problems.
