- Determine staffing requirements and facilitate the hiring process; coordinate employee scheduling, truck assignments, and dispatch of move crew (includes Saturdays)
- Coordinate and direct fleet maintenance and equipment inventory
- Lead mover/driver training; responsible for team development and motivation
- Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all Department Of Transportation regulations and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration guidelines
- Complete performance audits during moves to ensure safety and customer satisfaction; oversee damage resolution process
- Driver’s license with good driving record
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and random drug screens
- Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to multi-task
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Commitment to customer service and the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK core values
- Proficient with the following Microsoft applications:
Excel, Word, and Outlook
Work is generally performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards, however, occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds may be necessary. Local travel in a company vehicle may be required.
