Mechanical Assembler

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Mechanical Assembler for a company based in Lawrenceville, GA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your mechanical and electrical skills while building customized golf carts in a growing company that values quality workmanship, attention to detail, and opportunities for advancement.

Pay Rate $18.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Assemble golf carts according to build sheets, printed instructions, and customer specifications.
• Install electrical components including wiring harnesses, batteries, controllers, lighting systems, and accessories.
• Perform mechanical assembly of steering, suspension, braking, and drivetrain components.
• Install customized accessories such as lift kits, wheels and tires, enclosures, sound systems, and lighting packages.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure completed golf carts meet company and customer standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues during the assembly process.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Complete assembly projects accurately while meeting production deadlines.

• Previous experience in automotive, mechanical, electrical, golf cart, powersports, marine, or related assembly fields.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, diagrams, and build sheets.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability tolift upto 75 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in a shop environment for extended periods.

• Experience assembling golf carts, automobiles, motorcycles,powersports vehicles, or similar equipment.
• Knowledge of DC electrical systems and battery-powered equipment.
• Welding, fabrication, or customization experience is a plus.

Job Type Full-time, Temporary to Hire
