Travel Registered Nurse CVOR

This is a travel opportunity for a Registered Nurse with CVOR specialization in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Start date is 10/26/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Guaranteed 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts across four days (10x4). Weekly pay ranges from $1,619 to $1,640. The role requires cardiac surgical case experience and a weekday schedule with mandated call and holiday coverage.

  No local candidates within 50 miles

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the CVOR for cardiac procedures, including patient assessment, positioning, IV access, and monitoring.
• Assist the surgical team intraoperatively, support the sterile field, and coordinate instrument and supply counts.
• Act as a circulating nurse, ensuring patient safety, equipment readiness, and documentation of intraoperative events.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and perfusion teams to ensure smooth case flow and timely handoffs to PACU.
• Adhere to all sterile technique standards and hospital protocols; manage urgent intraoperative changes and equipment needs.

• Current RN license with eligibility to practice in Georgia (active status preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Preferred:
  Certification in Surgical Technology (NBSTA or NCCT)
• Ability to work M-F with 6 days of call per month; must participate in major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day) and one minor holiday (e.g., Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve)
• Ability to work in a CVOR setting, with strong critical thinking and teamwork skills
