Position Overview
Shift Manager role at a McDonald's franchise-owned restaurant. The franchisee is the employer;
McDonald’s USA has no control over employment matters.
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. Shift Managers provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain Quality, Service and Cleanliness.
Key duties include:
- Planning for each shift.
- Monitoring performance during the shift.
- Taking action to ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards.
- Monitoring safety, security and profitability.
- Communicating with the next Shift Manager to help prepare them for a great shift.
- Meeting targets during shifts and helping departments reach their goals.

Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Must be 18 years or older.
Positive team players with a flexible schedule who thrive in the fast‑paced McDonald’s environment are preferred.
