Job DescriptionYou've closed complex deals, prospected new customers, and repeatedly met quota. Now you’ll have a front‑row seat to influencing our company’s success. Sage’s software makes life easier for small‑to‑mid‑sized businesses, and you will be the trusted advisor partnering with prospects to do so. You’ll work closely with our SDRs, build pipeline, and manage the sales process with customers.
Hybrid RoleThis is a hybrid role – 3 days per week in one of our offices (Austin, Atlanta, or Lawrenceville).
First 90 DaysWith one‑on‑one support from your leader, you’ll learn the Sage landscape, receive virtual product training, and shadow teammates. You will then start prospecting and managing deals on your own, gradually closing deals independently.
Minimum Qualifications- 3+ years of quota‑carrying software or technology sales and account management experience
- 2+ years managing and closing complex sales cycles
- Experience selling business software to C‑level executives
- A strong business aptitude with proven success in net‑new logo sales in a fast‑paced environment
- ERP experience (nice to have)
- Identify and qualify opportunities, pursuing conversion of qualified leads to customer solutions with subscription‑based revenue
- Receive inbound leads
- Deliver value proposition through customer meetings, telephone, internet, and webinars
- Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close sales as required
- Forecast all opportunities based on Sage Intacct sales model and opportunity management definitions
