Company iS3 Tech Services is seeking top-quality candidates to join our team of professionals. iS3 Tech Services is a respected system integrator in the Southeast, providing installation of access control, video surveillance and other low voltage systems to commercial and industrial clients. Since 2013, iS3 Tech Services has completed thousands of successful projects in various markets, including government, Fortune 100, power generation/transmission, data centers, large sporting arenas, remodels and new construction.

Advanced Commercial Security Installation Technician. You must be able to pass a background, drug screen, and a motor vehicle report (MVR).

• Level 2 Tech:
  Install, terminate and test copper and fiber optic cable infrastructures per BICSI standards; install equipment racks, cabinets, enclosures, panels; travel up to 10% may be required; install, test and troubleshoot access control, IP video surveillance, and other low voltage systems; perform routine maintenance and inspections; install and wire door controllers, power supplies, video servers, cameras, electric door locks, credential readers, and other edge devices;
  
  install switches, routers, and other network devices; provide routine/preventive maintenance; act as project lead when required.
• Level 3 Tech:
  All Level 2 duties plus programming IP video surveillance, access control and other systems; program switches, routers, and network devices; troubleshoot and repair systems; train other technicians.

• Demonstrate the ability to use applicable tools on a construction site.
• Level 2 – Minimum 1 year experience installing copper and fiber optic networks (termination, splicing, supports) and installing access control and IP video surveillance devices and head-end components.
• Level 3 – Level 2 requirements plus experience programming access control and video surveillance systems (e.g., S2 Security, Avigilon, Software House).
• Working knowledge of PCs and software (including Microsoft Office).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; strong work ethic.
• Organization alignment:
  Installations Technicians report to project leads, who report to the Installations Manager.
• Required
  
  Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED. Preferred: related diploma/degree or equivalent experience.
• Licenses:
  Valid driver’s license.

  Hours:
  
  Full-time, typically Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., may vary by client requirements. Evening and weekend work may be required.
• Travel:
  Local travel and occasional non-local travel up to 10% of the time.
• Physical Demands:

Local travel to job sites, daily travel to client sites. Job sites are determined by contracted clients. Local travel is defined as work within the state of residence without overnight lodging.

• All W-2 employees are paid hourly and may receive incentives and benefits. Benefits include paid holidays, PTO, short-term disability, and tool provisions. A company vehicle is provided for some positions. 120-day probationary period.
