About the Role

Jade Global Solutions LLC is seeking Structural Iron and Steel Workers to support structural steel assembly and installation. You will prepare, position, align, and secure steel components while following construction drawings and the site supervisor’s instructions.

What You'll Do

• Assemble, position, align, and install structural steel components.
• Measure, mark, and prepare steel materials according to project instructions.
• Connect and secure steel components using bolts and other mechanical fastening methods.
• Use hand and power tools safely and maintain an organized work area.
• Work on ladders and elevated platforms while following required safety and fall protection procedures.
• Operate scissor lifts and forklifts only after receiving the required training and authorization.
• Travel between the shop and project locations as assigned.
• Follow supervisor instructions and report unsafe conditions or equipment concerns promptly.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Experience in structural steel assembly, erection, or installation.

Knowledge of safe practices for handling, positioning, and securing steel components.

Ability to use hand and power tools for steel assembly and installation.

Ability to follow work instructions and collaborate with a field or shop team.

Dependability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.

Physical Requirements and Work Requirements

• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with frequency varying by task.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Ability to work at heights, generally below 40 feet, with some projects requiring work above that level.
• Work in indoor shop environments and outdoor construction sites with varying weather conditions.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Tools, Safety, and Training

• Employees must bring personal tools and safety boots. Specific requirements will be communicated before the start date.
• Required protective equipment and fall protection must be used as directed.
• Training will be provided upon starting the assignment.

• A practical skills assessment may be required at the client’s corporate office in Braselton, GA. Details will be provided during the hiring process.

Schedule and Travel

The current schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Overtime and weekend work are not currently anticipated but may be required as project needs change. Travel between project locations is required. A personal vehicle is not required for work-related travel between sites.
