Overview
Place of Performance: Reynolds Army Health Clinic and/or any of the outlying RAHC clinics on Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
Pay: $300/hr
Hours of Performance: Shall provide services five days a week, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. Normal duty hours are 0800 — 1700 to include an hour lunch break that is not paid for by the government. The HCW shall perform services on a schedule established by the Diagnostic Service (or department) chief. Hours are subject to change as mutually agreed between the contractor and the Government.

ResponsibilitiesThe contract provider will be capable of performing a full range of radiology services to include but not limited to:
- Routine Diagnostic Examinations. Interpret and/or perform routine examinations consisting of:
- Head and Neck
- Chest
- Mammography
- Abdomen
- Spine and Pelvis
- Extremities
- Fluoroscopy
- CT Exams
- MRI Exams (Including Breast MRI)
- Ultrasound Exams
- Nuclear Medicine Exams
- Submit Diagnostic Radiology Reports in accordance with established procedures.
- Adhere to the Center for Disease Control guidelines concerning universal precautions and the MTF Infection Control Program.
- Provide advice, professional opinions and written technical studies and professional reviews as requested by the Chief of Radiology in support of the various boards and committees within the MTF involved with evaluation of patient care and treatment.
- Facilitate patient access to medical care by recommending appropriate referrals to other health care providers in accordance with policies and regulations of the medical treatment facility.
- Attend and participate in local professional staff conferences, committee meetings, and other appropriate professional activities as determined by the supervisor as workload permits during scheduled duty hours.
- Review and interpret special procedures and nuclear medicine studies obtained on DoD beneficiaries from local and/or regional civilian medical centers, and Veterans Administration Hospitals within twenty-four (24) hours after receipt in the Department of Radiology if requested in writing by the Chief, Department of Radiology.
- Provide advice and opinions upon request by the Chief of Radiology in support of diagnostic interpretations of radiological examinations and procedures as provided in conjunction with patient care end treatment as provided by the contractor.
- Read STAT/"wet" diagnostic studies.
- Interpret all routine studies (including plain films, MRI, CT, US, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine as available at the MTF) and submit a written report within twenty four (24) hours after the study is performed.
- Interpret all STAT studies and provide report within 2 hours.
- Accomplish fluoroscopic exams and special procedures (i.e. arthrograms/injections, biopsies, drainages, etc.) on the daily schedule established at the direction of the Chief, Department of Radiology. These fluoroscopic exams and special procedures require same day interpretation.
- Prepare all records and reports as may be required in support of services rendered and as required by the MTF, Federal law or Army regulation.
- Take part in hospital Quality Assurance Programs as required to meet the standards of the Joint Commission.
- Attend and participate in patient care reports, local patient care conferences, local team conferences, local professional staff conferences and other appropriate local professional activities only to the extent that such attendance and participation is relative to his/her assigned cases and/or performance of contract services as determined by the Chief of the Department or other designated representative.
- Perform and provide diagnostic interpretation of radiologic examinations, and provide diagnostic consultation related to diagnostic imaging to other members of the medical staff.
