Hilliary is seeking a qualified Generator Service Technician.

• Maintenance and Repair:
  Perform routine maintenance on generator sets, including oil changes, filter replacements, and coolant level checks. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues within generator systems.
• Installation:
  Install new generator sets and electrical components, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and local codes.
• Testing and Troubleshooting:
  Conduct tests on electrical systems and circuits to ensure compatibility and safety. Provide emergency on-call support for generator failures or power outages.
• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate records of service actions, including maintenance, repair, and replacement activities. Update work orders to reflect work performed.
• Computers/Tablets:
  Must have knowledge of the use of a laptop or iPad to complete issued work orders or update the system of parts or fluids used or work performed.
• Travel:
  Must be willing to travel to different locations.
• Additional Work:
  Must be willing to do other tasks or requests by the management team.
• Proven work experience as a Generator Technician or similar role.
• Knowledge of diesel, gasoline and propane engines, electrical systems, and generators.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to adhere to safety procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical degree or certification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field is a plus but not required.
