DEFINITION
Under the direction of the Registered Nurse the surgical technologist assist in the delivery of patient care as a member of the surgical team and assumes appropriate responsibility for delivery of that care before, during and after surgery.
CERTIFIED REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE)- Certificate of graduation from a School of Surgical Technology.
- Certification as a Surgical Technician.
- CPR
- Certificate of graduation from a School of Surgical Technology required
