Travel PTA - Rehab

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for an acute rehab unit, requiring 2+ years of inpatient rehab and PTA experience.

• Current OK state license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient rehab and PTA experience required
• Recent travel healthcare experience preferred
• Compact license not accepted for this position

• Acute inpatient rehabilitation unit at a regional referral center serving nearly every medical specialty
• Patient population includes infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Day shift schedule, 10-hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Some weekend and holiday coverage required
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week assignment length
• Perform selected physical therapy procedures and related tasks under supervision of a registered Physical Therapist
• Treat patients using modalities and exercise in accordance with approved treatment plans
• Complete documentation including daily notes and discharge data
• Assist in maintaining the department in a neat and orderly manner
• Accepts local candidates at a reduced rate
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested during the assignment
• Former direct employees of the facility are not eligible to return through an agency until 6 months after their previous employment ends
