American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for an Outpatient Therapy position requiring 2 years of outpatient PTA experience and OK state license (license required if applicable).
Requirements- Current OK state license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of outpatient PTA experience required
- Recent travel healthcare experience preferred
- Complete documentation of daily notes and discharge data
- Work in the Outpatient Therapy department of a 265-bed regional referral center
- Treat a patient population including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
- Day shift schedule with 10-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Occasional Saturday coverage may be required in in-patient rehab or acute care at the main hospital
- No on-call requirements
- Compact license not accepted
- Perform selected physical therapy procedures and related tasks under the direction and supervision of a registered Physical Therapist
- Treat patients with modalities and exercise in accordance with medical needs and approved treatment plans
- Assist in maintaining the therapy department in a neat and orderly manner
- Local candidates within a certain radius may be considered at a reduced rate
- Former direct employees of the facility are not eligible to return through an agency until after 6 months from their previous direct employment
- Maximum of 5 days of requested time off (RTO) during the assignment
