Resident Care Coordinator (RCC)

About the Role:

As a Resident Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of our residents while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This position includes staff scheduling, new hire training, supervision of caregivers and medication administration, as well as direct resident care when needed. You’ll serve as a key liaison between residents, staff, and external healthcare providers to help maintain a high standard of care and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain staff schedules
  • Handle covering all call offs to ensure the schedule is covered
  • Train and orient new employees
  • Supervise caregivers and monitor resident care delivery
  • Oversee and support medication administration and documentation processes
  • Review and document communication logs, MARs, new orders, and alert charting
  • Coordinate with outside agencies and medical providers regarding resident care
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of medication storage areas
  • Participate in service plan reviews and update documentation as needed
  • Assist residents with meals, medication administration, and direct care

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Active ACMA certification with insulin required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience required
