Description:
We are a complete Cath Lab utilizing Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and General Surgeons. We provide comprehensive Cardiac and Peripheral Services. The procedures include Left Heart Cath, Right and Left Heart Cath, PTCA, Stenting, Thrombectomy, and Atherectomy. We conduct Carotid diagnostic and stenting procedures. Peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures are included, such as Atherectomy and Pacemaker Insertion. Other procedures include Tilt Table Test, Kyphoplasty, and AV graft diagnostic, stent, and thrombectomy.
The Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist will work an 8-hour day shift and rotate call during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Proficiency in various devices used in the Cath Lab is required, including the Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and various coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices. Our facility has two Siemens Artis Zee C-arms and utilizes McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and McKesson Hemodynamic System.
The applicant will rotate between scrubbing and circulating procedures, which includes operating the X-ray equipment. Other duties include assisting with pre and post area responsibilities, transporting patients, and managing inventory.
