The Vice President of Information Technology is a senior executive responsible for defining and executing the company’s IT strategy in alignment with overall business goals. This role provides leadership over IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, software development, and digital transformation initiatives while ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of technology systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the company’s IT vision, strategy, and long-term technology roadmap
- Oversee IT operations including infrastructure, cloud services, networks, and end-user support
- Lead cybersecurity strategy, risk management, compliance, and incident response efforts
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with business objectives
- Drive digital transformation, system modernization, and process automation initiatives
- Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of IT systems
- Lead, mentor, and develop IT leadership and technical teams
- Establish IT governance, policies, standards, and best practices
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Bachelor's or Master’s preferred)
- 1+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles
- Proven experience managing IT environments and enterprise systems
- Understanding of cybersecurity, cloud computing, networking, and software systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence executive stakeholders
- Experience with budgeting, vendor management, and strategic planning
