Med/SurgRN Job Details
- Location: Lawton, OK 73505 (Oklahoma healthcare jobs)
- Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract
- Start Date: November 17, 2025
- End Date: February 16, 2026
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
- Patient Ratio: 1:5 (Med/Surg unit)
- Employment Type: Travel RN, W2 position
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470 - $1570
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Oklahoma or compact state)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience (6 months Med/Surg experience required at minimum)
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
Ability to provide patient care across the lifespan: infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics - Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans for medical-surgical patients
- Conduct patient assessments, nursing diagnoses, and ongoing evaluations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high standards of patient care
- Provide leadership and guidance to ancillary and clinical support staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional nursing standards
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse population
