We are currently looking for talented Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Adult Inpatient departments. Position is assigned responsibilities for providing direct or indirect professional nursing services in a variety of settings. This includes providing nursing assessments, planning, interventions, evaluations, health‑related education, case management, and execution of the medical regime including administering medications and treatments prescribed by any person authorized to prescribe by state law.

• Responsible for performing technical direct and indirect nursing such as taking temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, and medication administration
• Perform other technical nursing tasks in providing health care to patients and others
• Directs the activities of the direct care staff on the unit

• Licensed Practical Nurse I: $50,500.00 (24.28/hr)
• Licensed Practical Nurse II: $55,000.00 (26.44/hr)
• Licensed Practical Nurse III: $60,000.00 (28.85/hr)
• Shift differentials for evening, nights, weekends or holidays
• FLSA Status:
  Non‑Exempt

• Evening/Nights – extra $3.00/hr
• Weekends – extra $3.00/hr
• Holidays – extra $3.00/hr
• On Call: $1.00 per hour

• Licensed Practical Nurse III:
  Oklahoma license and three years practical nursing experience
• Licensed Practical Nurse II:
  Oklahoma license and one year practical nursing experience
• Licensed Practical Nurse I:
  Oklahoma license

• Physically: occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and push/pull 25 pounds
• Travel: willing to travel as required
• Driver’s license required

Jim Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center in Lawton, OK is a community‑based center with a primary focus on mental health and substance abuse treatment. The inpatient and outpatient services include special groups and programs for adolescents, persons with co‑occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, seniors and older adults, women, men, and criminal justice groups.
