Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Oklahoma with on-call and holiday requirements.

• Work in a comprehensive Cardiac Cath Lab alongside Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and a General Surgeon
• Performs a full range of cardiac and peripheral procedures including left/right heart cath, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy, atherectomy, carotid and peripheral diagnostic interventions, pacemaker insertion, tilt table testing, kyphoplasty, and AV graft procedures
• Utilizes equipment such as Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, Siemens Artis Zee C-arms, and various atherectomy devices
• Works with McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and McKesson Hemodynamic System
• Day shifts (5x8 hours) with on-call rotation up to 7 days per month (not consecutive)
• On-call responsibilities include coverage during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Duties include patient monitoring, pre and post procedure care, patient transport, and assisting as needed in the lab
• Candidates may be required to work with the LEXISCAN Stress Test
• Team environment with rotation through various roles and responsibilities
• Maximum of 5 requested days off (RTO) allowed
• Local candidates will be considered at a reduced rate

• Active OK or compact RN license required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS (AHA) certification preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience required
• Ability to work some holidays during assignment
• Recent travel nurse experience preferred
