Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail‑oriented and enthusiastic Entry‑Level Accountant to join our accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their accounting career to gain hands‑on experience in a supportive environment. You will assist with day‑to‑day accounting tasks, financial reporting, and maintaining accurate records using Net Suite and other tools.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and collections follow‑up.
- Perform data entry and maintain general ledger accounts in Net Suite.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and balance sheet accounts.
- Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, including preparing financial reports and schedules.
- Analyze financial data and assist in preparing basic financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and basic accounting principles (GAAP).
- Collaborate with the accounting team on ad‑hoc projects and audits as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required); or currently pursuing a degree in Accounting.
- Prior accounting experience or internships preferred but not required.
- Experience with Net Suite ERP system is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
