Job Summary

The Davis Learning Center Office Assistant is the primary point of contact for visitors. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting visitors, answering emails and phone calls, helping students schedule appointments, assisting the Learning Support Director, coordinator, and tutors with tasks as needed, and performing other basic office duties.

Key attributes: punctual, self‑starter, energetic, outgoing, customer‑service orientated, organized, able to prioritize and meet deadlines on varied projects, detail oriented, with excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and interface effectively with all clientele.

Other Information

This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be a WSU student.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service and office organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience with Google Suite.
  • Willingness to learn new technology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Willingness to contribute beyond the basic job requirements.
