Journeyman Electrical Engineer Security Clearance

Position: Journeyman Electrical Engineer with Security Clearance
Description
* Perform technical analysis associated with the assigned task area for problems with specific objectives and requiring investigation of a limited number of variables
* Make recommendations on technical alternatives, component design or selection, and/or adaptation to meet assigned requirements
* Perform duties under supervision of senior engineer(s)
* Follow, perform, and record the results of the execution of a test plan
* Other duties as assigned Requirements Education/Training:
* Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required
* Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred

Experience:

* 2+ years of professional experience in the required task area
* Experience with Agile, CMMI SP SP, AS9100, or other process model for software development
* Knowledge reading and creating schematics and requirements documents
* Familiarization with software configuration management efect tracking tools and peer reviews
* Knowledge of computing systems and software structure Experience creating flowcharts, diagrams, and other documentation in IBM DOORs or Microsoft Office
* Experience with DoDAF and modeling/simulation (e.g., CORE, Genesys, Azure, Jira, Confluence, etc.) would be helpful
* Knowledge of formal test planning, procedures, execution, and reporting would be helpful
* Military aircraft experience preferred Security:
* Must be a US citizen
* Active DoD issued security clearance at level Secret or higher required
* Eligibility for Top Secret security clearance required

Physical Requirements:

* Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
* Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
* Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
* Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time
* Must be able to perform business travel;
