. The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) is seeking full‑time, non‑supervisory General Engineers, Test Engineers (TE) to work in the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Systems Directorate at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.

The incumbent serves as a technical expert for test and evaluation as defined by DoD 5000.‑103 and the applicable federal occupational series.

- Manages planning and execution of test and evaluation activities, including requirements verification, test strategy development, risk management, and evaluation of system performance, interoperability, reliability, maintainability, and cybersecurity.
- Plans, organizes, and coordinates T&E activities with program management, contracting, engineering, manufacturing, configuration/data management, test, and logistics.
- Provides expert technical advice to senior stakeholders on T&E planning and execution.
- Reports progress of assigned test projects to stakeholders.
- Collaborates with prime contractor test teams, the Combined Test Force, and SPO subject matter experts to develop and execute test activities per the Test Manager and the program’s Test & Evaluation Master Plan.
- Leads working groups to resolve T&E issues, including technical, resource, and schedule conflicts.
- Researches, interprets, analyzes, and applies test and evaluation guidelines, policies, and regulations to accomplish mission and program requirements.
- Develops test documents, test strategies, and TEMP inputs; coordinates with the Lead TM for formal Air Force and DoD approval.
- Coordinates plans and schedules with other stakeholders and multi‑service DoD test ranges to ensure adequate test resources.
- Diverse experience in test and evaluation of weapon systems and related test planning and execution.
- Experience in collateral, sensitive compartmental, and special access program security environments is highly desirable.
- Experience working in multi‑disciplinary teams and independently at the NH‑03 level is highly valued.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
- Must meet the education and specialized experience requirements of the OPM Qualification Standards, Group Coverage Qualification Standard for Professional and Scientific Positions (Engineering standard).
- Must meet DAWIA requirements, including achieving a “Practitioner” certification in “Test and Evaluation” within five years of appointment.
- This is a Non‑Critical Acquisition Position.
