Wasatch Labs POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Pack-Out Associate reports to the Pack-Out Supervisor.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES- Maintain the workplace and pack-out area in a neat, clean and orderly condition
- Ensure accurate quantities are packed and conduct final quality control checks
- Carefully and quickly packaging pouches according to customer orders
- Labeling & stacking boxes for distribution, performing accurate inventory counts & more
- Conduct visual inspection of product to ensure good quality
- Must have excellent dexterity to manually assemble small parts using hand tools, fixtures, and/or equipment, and sort product for defects as require
- Follow company GMPs, Food Safety, and other applicable WPDNs SOPs
- Attend monthly plant training
- Count counting skills, using decimals and fractions with calculator
- Must be able to work at a quick pace while maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Must have good hand/eye coordination
- Must have excellent dexterity to manually assemble small parts using hand tools, fixtures, and/or equipment and sort product for defects as require
- Must be a self-directed "go-getter" who can teach others while also participating in the work load
- Regularly required to stand and move about within the work areas
- Ability to lift loads of 50 pounds
- Able to work occasional weekends, holidays
- Strong attention to detail
