Plasma Center Nurse – LPN (Bio Life Plasma Services)

Location:

Layton, UT (USA). Full‑time, hourly wage $23.85–$32.79. Eligible for medical/dental, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits.

Summary:

As a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse), you will support daily plasma donation operations, ensuring donor eligibility, safety, and quality of collected plasma. You will work under the guidance of the Center Manager and Medical Affairs, and collaborate with the Center Physician on medical issues.

Responsibilities
  • Determine donor eligibility, obtain informed consent, and conduct medical history interviews.
  • Perform physical examinations, blood tests, and review serological results.
  • Manage donor adverse events, evaluate reactions, and follow SOPs for medical emergencies.
  • Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
  • Maintain environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance and support pandemic coordination when authorized.
  • Collaborate with Center Physician and Medical Affairs on medical guidance and donor safety.
Qualifications
  • High‑school diploma or equivalent (LPN or LVN state license required).
  • Current CPR and AED certification.
  • Basic IV therapy proficiency and FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
  • Two years of clinical or hospital experience.
  • State licensure (LPN or LVN) in the state where responsibilities are assigned.
