Job Description
This position is responsible for providing technical support, coordination, design, and installation and start-up support of projects assigned to the engineering workshop. These projects may utilize in‑house or sub‑contract resources.

Consistently is a top performer who steadfastly pushes self and others for results. - Serve as Team Member on capital projects. Serves as project coordinator on Engineering Workshop projects. Duties will include leading project fabrication, installations, and construction. Position will assist with project start‑ups.
- Using a strong knowledge base of workshop related technology, develops and drives concepts for continuous improvement of system safety, maintainability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Provides technical expertise and support for Engineering Workshop functions. Mentors workshop personnel in technical areas.
- Coordinates project work provided by sub‑contract labor. Oversees sub‑contract work to ensure quality and consistency.
- Troubleshoots & provides solutions on project and system performance issues. Directly repairs or coordinates the repair of system issues. Collaborates with other areas of the company and/or equipment vendors, sub‑contractors, or consultants to solve complex performance issues. Mentors workshop personnel in troubleshooting methodologies. Develops internal contacts across the company.
- Coordinates special projects as directed by the Manager, Design and Reliability Support.
In addition to the responsibilities listed above, other duties may be assigned by your supervisor, as dictated by business necessity.
- High School Diploma or equivalent education.
- Minimum seven years of experience in fabrication shop, machine shop, or maintenance shop in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledgeable in CMMS.
- Functions as a technical expert.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Able to put together project estimates.
- Able to manage multifunctional groups.
- Reports to Manager, Design and Reliability Support.
- Direct Reports – None
- Indirect Reports – Assist with multi‑functional teams.
- Financial Scope:
Manages portions (up to $500,000) of larger capital projects.
