INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA is a global manufacturer of petrochemicals, specialty chemicals and oil products with 194 sites in 29 countries.

Overview

The HCM Manager leads the strategy, design, implementation, rollout, and maintenance of the HCM system(s). The role includes configuration changes, stakeholder engagement, and delivery of system solutions with vendor management.

Responsibilities
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements, implementing solutions and coordinating project work plans.
  • Conduct system needs analyses and recommend improvements, including technology updates.
  • Facilitate discussions between HR and subject matter experts to review business needs, requirements and process improvements.
  • Establish priorities for system changes, fixes, and upgrades.
  • Support clients through testing and ensure resolution of user requests in a timely manner.
  • Lead core HR systems team and manage day-to-day operations of HR systems.
  • Maintain system configurations, integrations, security, organization data and performance management data.
  • Lead HR systems governance committee, including trend analysis, project updates and setting priorities.
  • Manage vendor relationships, budget, contracts, performance, upgrades and RFPs.
  • Design HR special reports and dashboards, and consult with SMEs on report design.
  • Cross-train core HR systems team on system security, user access and related areas.
  • Serve as primary correspondent for HR communications, coaching and training HR teams as needed.
Education & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience with HCM system modules including HR, Compensation, Workflow, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, and Reporting.
  • 5+ years of industry experience delivering HCM solutions; strong preference for Workday experience.
  • 5+ years in a leadership position that required interaction with all levels of management.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
Skills & Competencies
  • Thorough understanding of HCM, recruiting, compensation, benefits, succession planning and performance management system features and processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and research integration failures.
  • Proficiency in integration logic and partner development communication.
  • Technical knowledge of authentication practices, identity management and integration security protocols.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, planning and project management skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong change management and multi-tasking abilities.
