* Graduation from an accredited vocational school of nursing and current Texas license required.
* Training or experience in geriatric, psychiatric or medical/surgical nursing preferred.
* Knowledgeable of human development, including the processes of aging, and of social and health problems confronting older persons.
* Models a service attitude toward others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative to make things better, is friendly and courteous to residents, families and coworkers.
