About Our Business Development / Regional Sales Manager
Our ideal candidate has a passion for driving sales and building relationships. As a BDM/RSM, you will search for new customers and representatives in your assigned territory. If you're motivated by closing sales and connecting with people, this is the position for you.
Responsibilities- Help drive sales by identifying customers and sales opportunities.
- Build a representative network and support representatives as needed.
- Actively cultivate new customer opportunities to grow the business.
- Develop an understanding of our extensive product offerings to provide technical expertise to customers.
- Track and follow up on business opportunities.
- May be called upon to fulfill other duties as needed.
- Communication:
Excellently written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust. - Adaptability:
Adjusts well to changing circumstances, thinks on feet, and manages multiple complex tasks within tight deadlines. - Teamwork:
Works well with others and is committed to the success of the team as a whole.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or four (4) years of direct sales experience.
- Technical aptitude necessary; industrial sales experience is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft applications, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint; ability to learn new software programs as needed.

GDS Corp is a subsidiary of Welker, Inc. This is an in‑office, full‑time position working Monday – Friday in League City, TX.
The starting salary is determined by experience, potential and education. Welker offers competitive benefits for full‑time employees, including paid time off, paid holidays, health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement.
