Operations Support Specialist, Business

The Operations Support Specialist is a dynamic, cross-functional role that provides essential support across KCW’s production departments. This position requires exceptional adaptability, quick learning and strong operational skills to assist in Coffee Bar, Kitchen Operations, or Production lines of operations. This role offers unique exposure to multiple aspects of our business while supporting critical operational needs.

• Respond to immediate operational needs as directed by leadership
• Support multiple departments based on seasonal demands
• Maintain flexibility in scheduling and task assignment
• Learn and execute various operational procedures
• Document processes and procedures across departments
• Support special projects and initiatives

• Assist with production roasting operations
• Support packaging and shipping processes
• Help maintain inventory and stock levels
• Assist with green coffee receiving and storage
• Aid in wholesale order fulfillment
• Maintain roastery cleanliness standards

• Assist with food preparation and kitchen operations
• Support inventory management and ordering
• Help maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
• Assist with catering preparation and execution
• Support special event operations
• Aid in menu preparation and plating
• Follow all food safety protocols

• Assist CEO with special projects
• Support document organization and filing
• Maintain accurate records of tasks completed
• Support communication between teams
• Assist with event planning and execution
• Aid in inventory management across departments

• 2+ years experience in food service or production
• Strong multitasking skills, quick learner and detail oriented mindset
• Team-player mentality and exceptional adaptability
• Food handler’s certification
• Physical stamina and time management experience
• Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
• Valid Driver’s License
• Flexible schedule availability: seasonal and/or weekends

• Ability to be on feet for extended periods of time
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in dynamic environment
• Manual dexterity for equipment operation
