Precision CNC Lathe/Mill Setup Technician

Configure, maintain, and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes

Run both production and prototype jobs with minimal supervision

Translate work orders into part specifications, tooling, and process steps

Independently stage and install tooling and work holding/fixtures

Conduct periodic inspections to ensure all features meet tolerance

Operate on Haas or DMG Mori controls; perform supervised program edits during first‑piece setup

Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PMNight

Shift: 4:00 PM – 2:00 AMMinimum qualifications3+ years machining experience3+ years hands‑on CNC experience

Ability to read, write, and apply basic to intermediate math Proven ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics

Thrives under tight production timelines

Skilled with precision measurement tools including calipers and micrometers

Tools, platforms, and proficienciesCNC tooling and optimization

Troubleshooting complex machining issuesCNC machine setup and changeover efficiency

Production‑run setups and repeatability

Blueprint reading and GD&T awareness

Controls/Machines: DMG Mori, Haas, Mazak How you’ll excel
