Meat Cutter Restaurant PT

Southside Market and Barbeque is currently accepting applications for a BBQ Meat Cutter. The position requires flexible hours including weekends and involves slicing proteins per customer requests while ensuring accurate orders.

• Communicates clearly with customers and staff to ensure accuracy of BBQ orders.
• Utilizes safe and efficient knife skills to cut and package smoked meats to order.
• Uses restaurant equipment to accurately weigh meats to exact specifications.
• Addresses customer questions and inquiries, and assists with recommendations.
• Ensures guest satisfaction through customer service and hospitality.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment.

• 1 year of prior knife skills and food handling experience required.
• Texas Food Handler Certificate required (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English for all job-related circumstances.
• Prior BBQ experience highly preferred.
• Must be 18+ years old.
