Are you a hands‑on problem solver who loves building, creating, and working both indoors and outdoors? Join our dynamic team at FASTSIGNS as a Production Specialist & Installer, where you'll see your work come to life in your community—on storefronts, vehicles, walls, and more.
This hybrid role blends in‑shop sign fabrication with in‑field installations. Some days you'll be working with machines like the laser or Zünd cutter, and others you'll be in the field installing signs of all shapes and sizes. Responsibilities- Operate fabrication equipment including laser engraver, Zünd router, laminator, and vinyl cutter
- Prepare substrates, assemble signs, apply pressure‑sensitive vinyl, and perform finishing operations
- Install signs and graphics on walls, windows, vehicles, posts, and buildings
- Perform site checks and communicate with the sales and design team to gather installation details
- Load/unload, package, and stage materials for production and installation
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and tools
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and report on equipment and inventory
- Ensure quality control and accuracy throughout the production and installation process
- Follow safety protocols and operate tools and vehicles responsibly
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and exceed customer expectations
- Advanced knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and general construction techniques
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Problem‑solving mindset and ability to manage workload independently
- Good math, spelling, and measurement skills
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and installation instructions
- Must have a valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Previous sign production or installation experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to kneel, stand, and lift for extended periods
- Ability to work outdoors in various temperatures and weather conditions
- Comfortable working at heights (ladders, scaffolding, bucket trucks)
