A leading accountancy practice in Leatherhead is seeking an experienced and motivated Audit Team Leader to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACA part-qualified or newly qualified auditor looking to step up into a more senior, supervisory role within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.

The Role:You'll play a key role in the audit team, leading fieldwork, supervising junior staff, and working closely with managers and partners to deliver high-quality audits. You ll be exposed to a wide variety of audit and accounts work, with plenty of opportunity to take on more responsibility and progress.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading audits from planning through to completion
- Supervising junior staff and reviewing their work on-site and in the office
- Liaising directly with clients and building strong relationships
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts under FRS 102
- Working with managers on risk assessments and audit planning
- Supporting ACA trainees and contributing to their development
- Ensuring work is delivered within deadlines and to a high technical standard
- ACA part-qualified or newly qualified (or equivalent)
- Experience working in audit within an accountancy practice (essential)
- Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 and UK audit standards
- Good communication and leadership skills
- A team player with a proactive and positive attitude
- Confident managing client relationships and leading fieldwork
