Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Claims Administrator to join a well-established, family-run construction business based in Leatherhead, Surrey.

The company specialises in insurance-related residential and commercial repairs, working with clients, insurers, loss adjustors, contractors and suppliers across a wide range of projects.

Working closely with a team of Contract Managers, the successful candidate will play a key role in keeping projects running smoothly from an administrative and customer service perspective. This is a fast-paced position suited to someone who is highly organised, confident communicating with customers and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Requirements
  • Previous experience within an administration, customer service or claims-related role
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicating with clients by telephone and email
  • Professional and approachable manner
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • IT literate and confident learning new systems
  • Experience using CRM systems advantageous
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a busy team

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emails and enquiries from clients, insurers, loss adjustors and other stakeholders
  • Communicate confidently with clients by telephone and email
  • Provide regular updates to clients regarding project progress
  • Liaise with loss adjustors, insurance companies, contractors and suppliers
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to Contract Managers
  • Monitor multiple live construction and insurance repair projects
  • Maintain and update multiple CRM systems
  • Keep project databases and records accurate and up to date
  • Maintain contact details, project information, correspondence and relevant documentation
  • Monitor outstanding issues and upcoming deadlines
  • Ensure Contract Managers are kept informed of important project updates
  • Support the wider team with general administrative duties as required
