About the job
As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll be the key to us unlocking doors with SME, Mid-Cap & Enterprise Businesses starting conversations on how can help them cut down on administration, help retain & engage their employees to really get the most out of all their benefits. You’ll be the first person contacts at these businesses hear from, and it’ll be your job to build relationships and nurture them through to face to face meetings with our Business Development Directors.
Areas of responsibility
- B2B outbound appointment setting with key business stakeholders – you will manage a pipeline of existing and past prospects, with the goal of re-engaging the customer and nurturing them through to a stakeholder meeting
- Pursuing your monthly target to support the commercial team’s overall target
- Cultivating meaningful relationships with your prospects via phone, email, networking events, etc
- Identify and nurture leads to successfully pass onto the Enterprise Sales team to meet face to face
- Working closely with the Marketing team to grow our leads pipeline and maximise visibility in the reward and benefits space
- Book meetings with 250+ employee target companies through outbound activity
- Maintain awareness of and comply with all legal requirements and company policies, including those relating to information security and data protection
- Responsibly handle, classify and manage all information, whether internal or received from external parties.
Key competencies and skills required for this role
Tele Sales: A self starter who is good at opening doors, gaining attention of buyers and securing appointments
Commercial Awareness:
Able to gain a deep understanding of the needs of the prospects and ensure that sales calls have the desired outcome
Self-starter: A natural Self starter who is results focussed
Business Intelligence:
Know all about Zest product and services. Ability to learn everything about the competition and market. Understand our competitive advantages and USPs.
Technology: Adept in using all standard MS Office systems, Hubspot and other Zest tools. Ability to understand the advantages of the technology that underpins Zest and competitive weakness
